Setup steps

From first login to first sale.

Follow these steps in order for the fastest path to a working checkout flow.

Install & Open

Local or cloud setup

  • Install the app or sign in to your account.
  • Complete the basic setup steps first.
Keep the first setup simple so you can get to checkout faster.

Add Items

Names, prices, and barcodes

  • Go to Products.
  • Add your items with names, prices, and barcodes if available.
You can always clean up categories, labels, and details later.

Checkout Flow

Scan or manual entry

  • Use a scanner if you want the fastest workflow.
  • Manual entry still works if you are not ready for barcode scanning yet.
A scanner with Enter enabled usually gives the fastest checkout flow.

Run Sale

Complete checkout

  • Open POS.
  • Add items to the cart.
  • Complete checkout and print or view the receipt.
Run a small test sale first before using it live.

Review

Verify results

  • Check reports after the sale.
  • Confirm inventory updated correctly.
